Why Aren't We All Bill Gates? Rethinking Hard Work and Fate

Is Our Future Truly in Our Hands, or Is It All Destiny?

We've all heard the empowering words "You create your own future." Many of us even believe it, striving daily to carve out the life we envision. But let's be honest, is life really that simple? If sheer hard work were the magic bullet, why do countless laborers and rag pickers, who toil endlessly, remain trapped in poverty? No one works harder than they do.

And if it's about skills or education, why are so many highly qualified doctors, engineers, and other professionals unemployed or struggling financially? Their expertise, supposedly the key to success, often doesn't guarantee prosperity.

Perhaps it's not about how much or how "smart" we work at all. It's all ultimately about destiny? If something is truly meant for you, if it's written in your fate by God,  you'll get it. But if it's not, then no amount of relentless effort, no brilliant strategy, will bring it to fruition.

Think about your own life. How often do things truly go exactly as you planned? Can you genuinely control someone else's behavior, or even dictate the outcome of every situation you face? The answer, more often than not, is no. We’re all striving, working day and night in our own ways. So why aren't we all Bill Gates or Steve Jobs?

This isn't to say effort is meaningless. By all means, work hard, try to pursue your goals, and give your best. But perhaps we need to release the illusion that we, and we alone, can singularly create our future. No one truly can. In the grand scheme of things, only God holds the pen that writes our ultimate story.

The Unspoken Truth: Why We All Chase Gold

The Unspoken Truth: Why We All Chase Gold

It's often said that money can't buy happiness, but let's be real—it certainly buys choices. We see people everyday making compromises, even sacrificing their rights and wrongs, for financial gain. Faces are changed, loyalties shift, all for the sake of money. So why does society often label some as "gold diggers" while subtly condoning the same pursuit in others?

Perhaps those dubbed "gold diggers" aren't inherently greedy; maybe they've simply seen the world for what it is. A harsh reality where money and power often dictate respect and admiration. To a certain extent, aren't we all "gold diggers" in our own ways? Who genuinely desires a life of struggle, sacrificing comforts and dreams of luxury?

Everyone strives for a better life, for the ability to afford a certain standard of living. This pursuit of financial security isn't inherently bad. The crucial distinction lies between the need for money and the lust for money.

Yet, we often witness a disturbing trend: people getting impressed by wealth and power, even to the point of justifying wrongdoings. Why are we so easily swayed by someone's financial status? Do we genuinely believe they'll share their fortunes with us? Unlikely.

It's time to be faithful to our consciences, if we still possess them. Shifting allegiances from those who are financially struggling to those who are well-off simply because of their money is a common, and frankly, shameful act. What if roles reverse? What if the poor and weak of today become the rich and strong of tomorrow? Will you be the first to fawn over them then?

Maintain one face. Cultivate self-respect and dignity. Don't become a commodity, easily bought and sold by the highest bidder. Your worth is far greater than any price tag.

That one morning of autumn

                          That one morning of autumn

This was the time of November in Sharjah when winters just started and hot summers with hot winds and humidity just got finished, Today was my second module of second year in graduation, I woke up in the morning when the sun's orange rays were coming from the window and birds were drinking water from the roots of the  Bamboo plant which I grew in water, I woke up and my mother brought breakfast of  ginger tea. I love and enjoy each sip of ginger tea, Smoke was rising from tea, I took white bread and dip it in the tea, till it socked the tea and become brown , the sunny side up egg was burnt from edges with raw yolk in middle and black pepper sprinkled over it,  After i finish the breakfast, i got ready and then put my laptop and charger in the bag, usually i charge my laptop one night before and today was also nothing different, then I went down to wait for the bus, Outside the cold wind was touching my cheeks and was blowing my hairs, the sunlight was filtering from the trees to the ground. I took a deep breathes and enjoyed each movement of that morning.

I don't know from where to start so many things happened in these two years that words are not enough to explain it, But when my father ...
